It is possible that after seven years from the filing of this research, things have changed, improved or worsened in Bogota that should give the authorities reason the item. SUMMARY For the degree of Master in Socio-Economic Planning of the Faculty of Sociology at the University of Santo Tomas in Bogota, the author presented at the end of 1999 this research with the title of Urban Planning Policy in front of Seismic Risk in Santafe de Bogota DC This article is a summary of this work which presents and systematized a series of data related to seismic risks to which the city is exposed.
